CHINA, Qing dynasty, Hebei Province, Beijing City military pay ingot, silver square block shaped sycee ingot, three tael sycee with one large group of characters on face in a pentagonal area, 34x34x12mm (110 g) as described in Cribb, Shun Tian (Beijing) in Chinese Bing Xiang Hui Yuan Zu Yin (Military Pay Huiyuan Bank pure silver, (Cribb 690 [Pl.57]). Very fine and rare.

This ingot is a military pay ingot for the Beijing Metropolitan Garrison.
