VIETNAM, Annam, ten lang silver ingot bar (381g; 110x29x15mm), Minh Mang/Tu Duc c1800s, with inscribed text on top at one end and stamped with various markings on four sides including official government testing stampings on one end of the letter N and also a crowned letter N. Fine.

Ex Status International Auction 346 (lot 7577).

These silver bars were used as a form of currency during the opium wars.
