SKYTHIA, Olbia, (late 5th-4th century B.C.), AE cast As, 68mm, (112.76 g), obv. Gorgoneion with protruding tongue, rev. APIX around, eagle flying right, holding dolphin in talons, (S.1682, SNG BMC Black Sea 380; SNG Stancomb 343; Thurlow & Vecchi pl. 1., Weber 2603). Fine, dark green and brown patina, rare.
