THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachus, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.30 g), uncertain mint (Cius?), issued first half of the third century B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, herm, K and **DI* monogram in inner left, grain ear to left in exergue, to right **[B]ASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson -, Armenak - [ANS MN 31], SNG Cop. -, Meydancikkale -, Numismatik Naumann Sale 90, 7 June 2020 (lot 95 same dies), HGC 3, 1750 for type). Very fine with surface marks, porosity and scratches, very rare, only one (Naumann) noted in Coin Archives.
