MARCUS AURELIUS (A.D. 161-180), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 174, (25.07 g), obv. M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVIII, laureate cuirassed bust to right, rev. IMP VI COS III around, S C in exergue, Jupiter enthroned to left, holding Victory and sceptre, (cf.S.4975, RIC 1098, C.252, BMC 1472). Attractive bronze patination, good very fine and rare in this condition.
