VOLUSIAN, (A.D. 251-253), AE as, Rome mint, issued 252, (10.82 g), obv. laureate bust draped to right of Volusian, around IMP CAE C VIB VOLVSIANO AVG, rev. Felicitas resting on column, holding short caduceus and transverse sceptre, around FELICITAS PVBLICA, S C across, (S.9806, RIC 251b, C.36, Hunter 40). Dark brown patina full flan, very fine and very scarce.
