GALERIUS MAXIMIAN, (305-311 A.D.), AE Follis, issued as Caesar c.300-303 A.D., London Mint, (11.10 g), obv. around G VAL MAXIMIANVS NOBIL C, laureate bust to right of Galerius Maximian draped and cuirassed, Rev. GENIO POPVLI ROMANI around, Genius standing to left, modius on head, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, right hand holds patera and left hand a cornucopiae, plain exergue. (S.14344, RIC Class II small head type No.14a, noted as rare). Good very fine and rare.
