BASILISCUS, (475-476), gold tremissis, Constantinople Mint, (1.45 g), obv. diademed, draped and cuirassed bust to right of Basiliscus, around D N BASILIS CVS PP AVG, rev. Victory walking right, head left, holding wreath and cross on globe, star in right field, around VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM, in exergue CONOB, (S.21486, RIC 1008, MIR 5). Scratch on reverse, good very fine and very rare.
