GREAT BRITAIN, 1d red brown (1841) imperf. issues on envelope covers or folded letters sheets fixed with stamps, with a range of places cited, some on blued paper, variously dated, noted 1841, 1843 with strip of four fixed vertically, 1844 (2), 1845, 1846 (3, one with pair of 1d issues) (illustrated), 1847 (8), 1848, 1849 (2), 1850 (4), 1851 (2), all SG 8-12; together with 1d red brown perforated with letters in 2 corners 1855, 1857, 1858 (2, one illustrated), 1860 (2), 1861 (4), 1862 (2), 1864, and uncertain to Dublin (cf.SG 17-41), and in all corners dated 1867, 1869, 1872, 1873 (joined pair, one creased, another a strip of 3), 1874, 1876, 1877, 1878 (3) (SG 43-44).
