RICHARD I, (1189-1199), silver penny, issued c.1189-1199, London mint, Class 4b, obv. facing bust, legend around, rev. [HE]NRI. ON. LVN[DI] (Henry of London), (S.1348C, N.968/2). Slightly off centred, large portion of the legend but with round flan, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.

Ex M.J. Syddell Collection, bought in England in 1969.
