CHARLES I, (1635-1649), Tower Mint under Parliament, shillings, type 4.4 mm P in circle (S.2800) (2), Aberystwyth Mint, groat, mm book (1638-42) (S.2893); Richmond farthing 1b, mm mascle (S.3182), rose farthing, type 3 (S.3203). Third pierced near centre, others very good - good fine. (5)

Ex Dr L.J.Sherwin Collection, last two ex G.C.Heyde Collection (lot 709); second ex G.K.Gray Sale 38 (lot 102, C.E.Pitchfork 12.3.76), first from Suttons Sale 11.12.76 (lot 25); third from W.Fleming in 1974.
