ANGLO-GALLIC, Aquitaine, Edward the Black Prince (1362-1372), silver hardi d'argent, without mint letter, 19mm, (1.13 g), obv. half length figure of prince facing, around +ED PO GNS REGI AGLIEN around, rev. long cross, lis and leopards in alternative angles, PRN /CPS R/AQIT /ANIE, (cf. Elias 208). Toned, round, very fine and rare.
