ARAB-SASANIAN, Eastern Sistan Series, Qudama, a Governor, (c.770s AD unknown), silver drachm (36mm), (3.74 g), obv. Crowned Sasanian-style bust right, imitating Khosrau II, Qudama bismillah rabi in outer right margin, rev. fire altar with ribbons, attendants flanking, crescents flanking flames, blundered date and mint to left and right, (G?bl, Dokumente 296; SICA -; Album 86, MWI 96-97, Wilkes ICC 74 [cf.illustration]). Very fine or better, rare.
