ISLAMIC, Abbasid, al-Ma'mun 'abd Allah, (A.H. 194-218) (A.D. 810-833), gold dinar, (4.17 g), citing al-Hasan and Dhu'l-Riyasatayn, below inscriptions on obverse and reverse, no mint name (perhaps Wasit mint in Iraq), dated A.H. 200 = A.D. 815-6, (A.222.13, Bernardi 102, Wilkes 389). Heavy scratch on reverse, otherwise nearly very fine and very scarce.
