ISLAMIC, Abbasid, al-Muqtadir, (A.H. 295-320) (A.D. 908-932), gold dinar, (3.96 g), citing the heir Abu'l-Abbas below, Madinat al-Salam (Baghdad) mint, dated A.H. 306 = A.D. 918-9, (A.245.2, AGC 242jh, Wilkes 427). Flan crack at edge, weak in places, nearly very fine, scarce.
Ex Dr L.J. Sherwin Collection and previously from I.S.Wright (Wynyard) January 2, 2004, and ex Glendinings June 1, 1989 (lot 308 part).
