ISLAMIC DYNASTIES, Egypt, Burji Mamluk, al-Ashraf Barsbay (AH 825-841, AD 1422-1438), gold ashrafi, 17mm, (3.35 g), Cairo mint, dated 837, legends are divided by three horizontal cables both sides, (Album 998, Balog 709, Wilkes 1040). Very fine, scarce.
