CEYLON, (Sri Lanka), an extensive collection of rulers from the restoration of Singhalese independence in the Polonnaruwa period (A.D. 1070-1302) together with the earlier kings of Ceylon (A.D. 985-1012), these issues are known as massa, others are copper kahavanunu or massa (17) of various kings from Parakrama Bahu II; Queen Lilavati (1197-1200, 1209-1211); Sahasa Malla (1200-1202); Parakramma Bahu II (1236-1271) and other later rulers. Mostly fine or better in 2x2 packets. (19)
