MALTA, Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Emmanuel Pinto, Grandmaster, (1741-1773), silver 30 Tari 42mm, (28.95 g). Valletta mint, dated 1757, obv. crowned and garnished coat-of-arms, rev, St. John the Baptist standing facing slightly right, holding banner; to lower right, lamb seated left, head right, (Schembri 4-5; Davenport 1600; KM A256). Toned, light marks, faint hairlines in fields, filed on edge and mounted on obverse, otherwise good very fine.
