MALTA, Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Emmanuel Pinto. Grandmaster, (1741-1773), silver 15 Tari, (14.29 g). Valletta mint, dated 1759, obv. crowned and garnished coat-of-arms, rev, St. John the Baptist standing facing slightly right, holding banner; to lower right, lamb seated left, head right, (KM.16); another silver scudo, 1764 (KM.14a); another 4 tari 1768 (KM.10b). Toned, first coin mounted on obverse, otherwise very good - fine. (3)

Ex Dr L.J. Sherwin Collection, all coming from M.R.Roberts in the 1970s.
