MACEDON, under Roman Rule, Gaius Publilius, Quaestor, (168-166 B.C.), AE 20, (9.95 g), obv. wreathed head of Dionysos to right, rev. **TAMI-O[U] GAIOU [P]-OPLIL-I[OU], goat standing right; monogram before, (S.-, MacKay, "Bronze Coinage in Macedonia, 168-166 BC," ANSMN 14, pg. 6, pl. IIII, 4, SNG Cop. 1321, HGC 3, 1116 [R1]). Very fine, with dark green patina, rare.
