THESSALY, Larissa, (400-370 B.C.), silver drachm, (5.80 g), obv, facing head three-quarter to right of nymph Larissa with spread wild hair, dotted border, rev. horse grazing to right, above **[LA]PI, plain exergue, (cf.S.2123, Lorber Early Group 3, head type 6, BCD Thessaly II 195 [similar dies], HGC 4, 430). Good fine/fine, a very rare variant.
