MYSIA, Pergamon, Kingdom of Attalos I, (241-197 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.98 g), Pergamon mint, obv. laureate head of Philetairos to right, rev. Athena seated to left on throne resting left arm on shield, and crowning legend **FILETAIROU*, far left a bee, +A monogram before Athena, (S.7220, Westermark Group VIa [obv.CXI, rev.3], Naville Sale 4 [1924] [lot 1393 same obv. die] similar for Naville XV [1930] [lot 927]). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.

Type known all from the one obverse die, Westermark notes three reverse dies for the four known examples.
