IONIA, Ephesos or Pergamum mints, Trajan, (98-117 A.D.), plated silver cistophorus, (8.98 g), obv. laureate hrad of Trajan to right, around IMP CAES NERVA TRAIAN AVG GERM P M, rev. distyle temple of Diana of Perge containing cultus-statue on base, DIANA PERG on entablature, around COS II, (cf.S.3112, Righetti Collection M&M Deutschland 13, 9 October 2003 [lot 325], (This Coin illustrated), BMC 711, RIC 721, RSC 57a. With evidence of plating and light weight, nearly very fine and very rare.
