IONIA, Phokaia, (c.521-478 B.C.), silver diobol, 9mm, (0.98 g), obv. female head left, wearing helmet or close fitting cap, rev. quadripartite incuse square, (S.-, SNG Cop.(Cyprus, etc.) 389-394, SNG Kayhan 522, cf.SNG von Aulock 1814, Klein 453). Very fine, slightly grainy as usual, scarce.
