CARIA, uncertain ('Mint G'), Orou, Local dynast, (c.450-400 B.C.), silver quarter stater, 15mm, (2.90 g), obv. forepart of winged man-headed bull to right, rev. head of female right in dotted square border within incuse square, (S.5194, Konuk, Orou 2.1, SNG von Aulock 1968 and 8473 (Uvug of Lycia); SNG Cop.Supp. 4301 (Uvug of Lycia); Ionia, Ephesos, (c.500-420 B.C.), silver tetartemorion, 7mm, (0.34 g), obv. Bee, rev star of eight rays within incuse square, (S.-, SNG Kayhan 136) (illustrated). Nearly very fine, second toned, both scarce, second rare.
