SAMARIA, (4th Century B.C.), silver hemiobol, 6mm, (0.21 g), obv. head of satrap left, wearing bashlik, rev. Persian king standing right, holding dagger), (Meshorer and Qedar 21); another (4th Century B.C.), silver hemiobol, 7mm, (0.27 g), obv. head of a horned mythological animal right, rev. lion crouching left, devouring animal hindquarters, (Meshorer and Qedar 156). Fine - very fine and very rare. (2)
