BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom, Diodotos II, (c.235-225 B.C.), AE unit 18mm, (4.53 g), Attic standard, obv.laureate head of Zeus to right, rev. Artemis advancing right, holding torch, (S.7504, Holt Series I, Group I; Bopearachchi Serie 9A; SNG ANS 99-100, HGC 12, 30 [R2]). Very fine mottled red, brown, and green patina, some minor roughtness and rare.
