BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom, Philoxenos, (c.125-110 B.C.), AE square unit, 19mm, (9.60 g), obv. city goddess standing left, raising hand and holding cornucopia; monogram at feet to left, rev. zebu standing right with letter below, (S.7666, Bopearachchi Serie 10F, SNG ANS 1205, HGC 12, 174); another Apollodotos II, (c.65-55 B.C.), AE 28mm, (16.63 g), obv. Apollo standing right, holding bow, with monogram to left, rev. tripod with Kharosthi letters around, (S.7694, Bopearachchi Serie 6D, SNG ANS 1584, MIG 432f, HGC 12, 393 [R1]); another Hermaios, (c.40-1 B.C.), billon tetradrachm, (9.50 g), North Chach mint, obv. diademed head of king to right, rev. Zeus on throne to left, holding sceptre, (S.7738, Bopeareachchi Serie 20, M.414p, HGC 12, 308); Very fine, last on short flan, second with olive green patina, first two rare. (3)
