BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom, Hermaios, (c.105-90 B.C.), silver drachm, 16mm, (2.44 g), obv. Diademed and draped bust right, around **BASILEWS SOTHROS ERMAIOU*, rev. Zeus Mithra seated to left holding sceptre, making a benediction gesture with his right hand, monogram in right field, (S.7740, Bop. Series 2A, SNG ANS 1332-3, HGC 12, 302 [S]). Attractive dark patination, good very fine, scarce.
