CHARACENE, Kings of, Attambelos I, (47/46-25/24 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, 28mm, (9.44 g), dated SE 275 (38/37 B.C.), obv. bearded diademed head right, rev. Herakles seated left, holding club set on knee; monogram above right arm, EO**[S]* (date) in exergue, (S.6182, Hill, Attambelos Type C, 23-24; DCA 485). Good very fine, scarce.
