EGYPT, Alexandria, Hadrian, (117-138), billon tetradrachm, 14 mm, (13.88 g), RY 18 = 133/4 A.D., obv. laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. L I-H, Serapis seated left on throne, holding sceptre in his left hand and extending his right over Cerberus at his feet to left, (cf.S.3739, Dattari (Savio) 1479-80. Emmett 892.18. K&G 35.571. RPC III 5871). A well centered and attractive piece with a strong portrait, good very fine.
