ROMAN REPUBLIC, Anonymous Series, (c.225 - 217 B.C.), AE cast sextans, (33.75 g), obv. Mercury head to left, wearing winged petasus, two pellets behind head, rev. prow to right, two pellets below, (S.587, Cr.36/5, Syd.82, Thurlow Vecchi 62, Haberlin pl.22, 19). Deep green patina, very fine and scarce.
