Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and parazonium, ROMA in exergue, S C across field, (cf.S.1961, RIC 333); AE dupondius, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 67, (8.80 g), obv. laureate head to right, with globe at point of neck off flan, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P P P, rev. SECVRITAS AVGVSTI around, Securitas in relaxed pose enthroned to right, head resting in right hand and holding sceptre in left hand, lighted altar and torch at feet, SC in exergue, (cf.S.1968, RIC 597, C.325); another AE semis, Rome mint, issued A.D. 64, (3.12 g), obv. laureate head of Nero to right, around [NERO CAESAR] AVG IMP, rev. S C in exergue, around CER QVINQ ROM [CO], mark of value S above table bearing urn and wreath, facing griffins in panels below, round shield resting against leg, (S.1979, RIC 233, RSC 47, BMC 261) (illustrated). Old light brown patina, surface pitting and roughness, second with flan crack, very good - nearly very fine. (3)
