VESPASIAN (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 70, (3.39 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, rev. Pax seated to left holding olive branch and caduceus, COS ITER TR POT around, (S.2285, RIC 10, RSC 94h, BMC 26). Compact flan as usual, otherwise good very fine/very fine, scarce.
