HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 138, Rome mint, (3.31 g), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. Venus, mantled and diademed, seated left on throne, holding statuette of Cupid, and sceptre, around VENERIS FELICIS, (S.3546, RIC 280, RSC 1449). Very fine or better and scarce.
