SABINA, wife of Hadrian, (died A.D.136-7), silver denarius, issued 134-6, (3.26 g), Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Sabina, rev. Venus standing right, holding apple and drawing out fold from drapery, (S.3924, RIC 396, RSC 73, BMC 944). Very fine, scarce.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection, previously from CNG Auction 241, September 29, 2010 (lot 356) with ticket, coming from the RW Collection.
