MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 161, (3.40 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around IMP M ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around CONCORD AVG TR P XVII, COS III, Concordia seated to left, holding patera, resting on statuette of Spes, cornucopiae below seat, (cf.S.4882, BMC 209, RIC 59, RSC 37). Lightly toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
