MAGNENTIUS, (A.D. 350-353), AE double maiorina, probably Ambianum (Amiens) mint, issued 353, (7.23 g), obv. bare headed draped and cuirassed bust to right, around traces of D N MAGNEN TIVS P F AVG, rev. most of SALVS DD NN AVG ET CAES, Chi-Rho flanked by A W, [AM]B in exergue, (S.18778 cf.RIC 39). Brown patination, short on flan good very fine.

Ex M.J. Syddell Collection, acquired from Baldwins London, October 1968, for 50/-.
