JUSTIN I AND JUSTINIAN I, (A.D. 527), AE follis, (33mm), (15.81 g), Constantinople mint, (struck 4 April-1 August 527), obv. D N IVSTIN ET IVSTINIAN P P AVG, diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Justin right, rev. large M, star to left, cross to right, [...]/CON, (S.125, DOC 10, BMC 7-8, T.144 BN 1-2). Good fine and very rare with even brown surfaces, a well struck for this joint rule issue.

Ex Dr L.J. Sherwin Collection and acquired from CNG eSale 233, May 26, 2010 (lot 510) where it realised $280, previously from the collections of Peter Lee and H. Goodacre.
