JUSTINIAN I, (527-565), AE follis, Constantinople mint, (20.83 g), issued year 14 = 540-541, officina A, obv. Justinian bust facing, DN IVSTINI ANVS PP AVC, rev. M, A below, year X/II/II, CON in exergue, large thin flan, (S.163, DOC.39a, BMC -, Hahn 95a.3a). Large flan, with earthern patination, otherwise good very fine and scarce.

Ex M.J. Syddell Collection, previously from Baldwin's London, November 1982 for ?15.
