JUSTINIAN I, (A.D. 527 - 565), Thessalonica mint, AE 8 nummi, (S.192A) (Ex Elsen 119 [lot543] and Baldwin's with ticket); Carthage mint, silver siliqua (S.254, DOC -, BN 8-11); another (S.253, DOC 280). All about very fine, silver clipped weak in places, scarce. (3)

Ex Dr L.J. Sherwin Collection, all in packets described with their provenance, first from Jean Elsen, Sale 119, 7 December 2013 (lot 543) with a priced ticket from Baldwin's London; second from CNG Mail bid Sale 45, 18 March 1998 (lot 2440); third from Spink Numismatic Circular March 1992 (item 815).
