KANGAROO OFFICE, Port Phillip, one ounce 'Pure Australian Gold', 1853, late restrike in copper (11.38g, 2mm thick, diameter 29mm). Traces of mint red, heavy die rust on reverse, possible thin varnish or lacquer on obverse field, overall attractive nearly uncirculated and possibly unique.
