PAIR: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. Lieut. J.R.Jenkins. Both medals impressed. Display mounted, some marks on ribbons, otherwise good very fine.

John R.Jenkins, born 05Feb1897 at Stretford, Lancashire, England; joined the Army and was commissioned as 2Lieut 01Jul1917 in 3Bn Cheshire Regt; recorded as Lieut on Army List 1918; fought on Western Front and Hindenburg Line and then posted to 3rd (Reserve) Battalion, Chester, England; Died 1960 at Styal, Cheshire, England.
