MACEDON, Mende, (c.480-460 B.C.), silver tritartemorion 9mm, (0.31 g), obv. Head of braying ass to left; pellet on neck, M before, rev. incuse square divided diagonally, (S.1281, SNG ANS 316-8, HGC 3, 562). Very fine, very scarce.
