MACEDON, Kingdom of, Demetrios I Poliorketes, AE 17, uncertain mint in Karia (?), struck circa 290-283 B.C., obv. helmeted head of Athena (or Demetrios) to right, rev. prow to right, BA above, labrys to right, AP monogram below, (S.6775, Newell 163, SNG Munchen 1056, SNG Alpha Bank 956, HGC 3.1, 1026b). Good very fine or better, scarce.
