PELOPONNESOS, Elis, Olympia, 103rd Olympiad, (368 B.C.), silver stater (11.74 g), obv. head of Hera to right, wearing stephanos adorned with palmettes and inscribed [HPA], [F] A on either side of neck, rev. eagle with spread wings standing left, head turned back to right; all within olive wreath, (cf.S.2875 [£650], cf.BCD Olympia 332.1 [similar dies], Seltman, Temple 301 [dies EU/**q/x*], Pl.X, group E2 Series XXVIII, BMC 90 [Pl.XIII, 13 same dies], Jameson 1239 [same dies], HGC 5, 363 [R]). Bright, slight roughness on neck, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
