CARIA, Islands off, Rhodos, Rhodes, (c.205-190 B.C.), silver drachm, 14mm, (2.83 g), Gorgos magistrate, obv. Head of Helios facing slightly right, rev. rose with bud to right, bow in bowcase to left, GORG[OS] above, (S.5052, Ashton 288, SNG Keckman 582-4). Extremely fine, lightly toned.

Ex Hans Ferdinand Collection, previously from Dr. Busso Peus Nacht, Auction 299, 6 May 1980 (lot 185).
