Some damage to binding and stitching, otherwise fine, a rare original set. (2)
The standard work being the only major text on this series of medals of Great Britain to 1760. It is also the prelude to the Lawrence Brown publications in three volumes on this series struck since 1760. A most important set of volumes which are offerred very rarely for sale.
