THE PRODUCER'S BANK, one pound, Sydney, 1 January 1861, (18 printed), No. 7444, hand signed and entered by uncertain signatures, imprint 'Nissen & Parker, London'(Vort-Ronald, p.193 and Fig.202 for similar note and that note also illustrated in Tomlinson p.83). Heavy folds, stains and creases, tears and frayed edges, with unobtrusive holes mostly around the watermark and on the folds, heavy aging tone, otherwise good, and very rare.

The Producer's Bank was established in 1851 but ceased in 1861. A few one pound notes are known to exist but probably less than six.
