INDIA, Independent Kingdoms, Mysore, gold fanams, of Haidar Ali (AH 1174-1197, 1761-1782 A.D.), not dated, Balhari mint, obv. Elephant standing right, rev. mint name Belhari, (cf.KM.3, Mitchiner 975,); another Tipu Sultan (AM 1215-1227, 1787-1799 A.D.), Patan mint, Malaudi era 1219 = AD 1790, obv. Persian letter 'Ha'. rev. 'Zarb Patan' in Persian, (KM 128.1). Extremely fine, both scarce, in collector's descriptive 2x2 Hartbergers. (2)
